It's a BABY GiRL!

Boboy and I just came from our OB's clinic...
Confirmed! It's a baby girl.
Her Daddy finally saw what she looks like on the ultrasound monitor.
Doc Juliet showed him her head, arms, legs, spinal column, heart...
We even heard her heartbeat...

When the doc pointed on her legs, they were moving...
She was sooo malikot...
Boboy had that goofy funny smile on his face once again...
Hahaha!

Doc said that Aleeza Erelah is on her 22nd week now...
She advised me to drink two glasses of milk everyday...
For calcium requirement...
Continue drinking Natalwiz Vitamins and Minerals...
Do some stretching...she said it's not really necessary to do walking
to the point of exhaustion...

Baby Lee is just the right length and weight for her age...
She's almost 500grams now...
She warned me to keep sweets like softdrinks, chocolates, and cakes to a minimum...
She also invited me to the 6th National Buntis Day on March 8 at SM City...
I'll have my Tetanus Toxoid Immunization there for FREE!!!!

I can't wait to buy stuff for you, baby girl...
Daddy and Mommy love you soooo much!
See you soon... ;-)

Dearest Little One...

Mommy forgot to take her vitamins this morning.
She feels so guilty all this time.
How could she forget such an important thing.
She's got to be more responsible the next time around.
When she gets home this afternoon,
she'll make it a point to put the vitamin kit in her bag
so she will no longer forget it.

Daddy and Mommy are so excited.
On Saturday will be Mommy's and your regular visit to the OB.
Remember what the OB said during your last visit?
She said that on this next visit, she will confirm your gender.

Wow! Mommy and Daddy can't wait to know if you're gonna be a boy or a girl.
Because then, they will be able to call you by your name, little one.
Do you like the name Mommy wants to call you, baby?
She knows in her heart you deserve such a name.
To her you shall grow to be a person with a heart and fear of God.
She envisions you to grow in love, faith, hope, and trust.
She envisions you to be what God wants you to be, our angel.

Did you enjoy the movie that Daddy and Mommy watched last Saturday?
It was the third part of the Underworld Series...
Daddy and Mommy liked it...
It was kinda noisy...but Mommy didn't quite feel you kicking the whole time.
Where you asleep then? Or just listening?...
Well, Daddy and Mommy can't wait bringing you to your first movie.

Daddy and Mommy love you so much, baby.
Grow well inside Mommy's tummy, alright?
See you soon...

Our Baby's Cousin --- Euki...

Full Name: Euwald Kian Leonida Duka
Nickname: Euki

Birthdate: February 4, 2009

Birthplace: Davao City

Proud Papa: Allan Raymund B. Duka
Proud Mama: Love Mae Leonida

Look-a-like: Snay! --- Boboy's adorable nephew... Instik man gud... Hope di na magchange face ni Euki para may kamukha na si Snay (aside from his Tito Boboy--konti--hehe)

Thinking about Baby Euki fills me with excitement about our very own Aleeza/Noah... I know it will not really be that easy to bring her/him out into this beautiful world... I must admit I'm really scared... But with Boboy around... our supportive family... wonderful friends... and a Mighty Loving God, I know both me and baby can get through it all... without a scratch... ;-)

On our 5th Month...

This was taken last Friday. Feb. 6, 2009.

I did my best to look alluring...sexy... whatever!

Hehehe... --- and the result!

Just another Happy Pregnant Woman... ;-)

Uncomfy Nights...

I've had no trouble sleeping for the last five months... until last night... I'm starting to have difficulties in turning from a different sleeping position to another...

Masakit na yung likod ko. I might buy a tennis ball this weekend. The book says a tennis ball backrub can do wonders... I can't wait!

Ang sabi sa book, it is best to sleep on your left side because this will allow the nutrients to flow freely into the placenta...tapos, in this position, the kidneys will also be able to function well... It is not recommended to sleep on your back kasi, the weight of the uterus might be hazardous to the intestines and the vein that transports blood back to the heart from the lower portion of the body.

Kaya, I'm starting to get use sleeping on my left side. Mahirap talaga lalo na if you are used to sleeping in different positions... yung tipong pag gising mu in the morning, mukhang dinaanan ng hurricane ang bed..haha!

Tama nga yung sabi sa book na when you are on your 5th month, the blooming stage is starting to faulter na... kasi, eto na yung reality stage ng pregnancy. Aside from the fact na this will be the time na fast na ang growth ni baby (translated: bulging tummy), eto din yung start ng mga discomforts... sabi nga, i should expect "manas" na or swelling of the feet, toes, fingers... waah! buti nalang i read a lot... kasi, meron din namang ways to prevent if not, minimize such discomforts... kaya ngayon, i make it a point to stand and walk around instead of just sit on my desk the whole day.

But despite the discomforts, I still feel so lucky kasi I was chosen to be given this gift. Tsaka, iniisip ko din si Nanay nung pinagbubuntis nya ako... I'm sure, kahit may discomforts sya, happy pa din sya...Kaya ako rin...ganun... ;-)

Showing Off the Bulging Tummy...

These days, I dress according to what I want to wear... it's amazing that people in the office would give comments on the way I wear my clothes... or comments on the dress itself... I don't really mind them... the most important thing for me is that I feel comfortable and beautiful with what I have on...
What really makes me feel good these days is the fact that people are already noticing my bulging tummy... Alfred (my officemate) said that he no longer doubts my pregnancy because the bulge is already impossible to be mistaken as just excess fats... Well, that made me smile... For one thing, I don't have to tell everyone I meet that I'm pregnant... They can tell that now. ;-)
Along with the bulging tummy comes baby's frequent movements. I love the butterfly like movements inside me. They always make me wonder what exactly is baby doing in there... and where is his/her head now? Is he/she comfortable enough?... etc... etc...
I wish that Boboy can see/feel the movements at this point... but our baby seems to be really shy around his/her daddy. The moment Boboy touches my tummy, our baby would stop moving... Maybe soon enough he/she will outgrow his/her shyness... ;-)
We love you so much, our baby... We are looking forward to your coming outside mommy's womb. Mwah!
